Having Star out of the top 10 as a QB is insane, but Luginbill doesn't exactly go by a ranking system. I think he uses the scout rankings a little bit, but he mostly ranks teams by how they fulfill their needs, and he must think Miami is doing that.
He may think that we need Julio (truth), he's said that he thinks Star is 2 years away from really making a winning impact, and I'd have to agree with that (though I think Star will get a bit of time next year to be broken in) and that we haven't fulfilled our immediate QB need. He has said we need DL,WR, LB,CB and on paper we only have like one LB (though we really know that we have a lot of guys that may be converted to that position). Our CB from Scout we only have 1 4 star.
I mean you can't think of what he says as that important, he's one man and I don't think he is on the money on a lot of things, or most things. But I do like that he goes by his opinion on needs fulfilled. Even if it is only his opinion, it can give you a bit of insight. A bit.
