I know it may sound crazy, but we could average 100 points this year. That would allow Sears to keep his 20+ points, and actually play fewer minutes. These guys were high on Sears coming back and I agree that he will be crazy valuable to the team. They seemed to think that he will have the same numbers or even better than last year (e.g. points-per-game). Depending on the stats, he may be better but maybe not in totals.
Sears's playing time will likely be reduced which should be a good thing all the way around. He played a ton of minutes this past season. I never noticed fatigue setting in but there had to be some on occasion.
Excellent point.I know it may sound crazy, but we could average 100 points this year. That would allow Sears to keep his 20+ points, and actually play fewer minutes.
Yes. I agree. If they could just let the Brandon Miller, thing go, I would like them so much better. That was a good listen, worth the time.
I'm not really sure how other teams are going to stop us this year. I thought we had depth when Miller and Clowney were here but now.. sheesh.I know it may sound crazy, but we could average 100 points this year. That would allow Sears to keep his 20+ points, and actually play fewer minutes.
He literally can go platoon basketball.I'm not really sure how other teams are going to stop us this year. I thought we had depth when Miller and Clowney were here but now.. sheesh.
Just thinking about this and how quick you could run an opponent to death, along with the refs is astounding. He literally can go platoon basketball.
Sears
Wrightsell
Youngblood
Nelson
Cliff O
then come in with
Holloway
Philon
Reid
Stevenson
Sherrell
and STILL have Mo, Nass and Houston on the bench.
He could come at people in waves. 5 minutes at a time. Breakneck speed.
That’s what I’m thinking. And the guys can run because there are 13 of them. Wild. But. They have the toughest schedule in the country.Just thinking about this and how quick you could run an opponent to death, along with the refs is astounding.
I’ve never played basketball but I know A lot of suicides get ran for conditioning. Is it safe to say that as teams get tired their shooting ability is going to go in the tank pretty quick? That’s what I’m thinking. And the guys can run because there are 13 of them. Wild. But. I played b-ball all the way until mid-freshman year in college when I blew my knee out. We ran suicides at different parts Of practice and especiallly in the end. We were in better condition in the 4th quarter and shot the ball better than the other team…especially at the FT line.I’ve never played basketball but I know A lot of suicides get ran for conditioning. Is it safe to say that as teams get tired their shooting ability is going to go in the tank pretty quick?
I wonder how bad the running affects the officials deciphering what they are seeing.
That shooting elbow starts to get real tired when you take the legs out of the equation.. Late second half will be our strongsuit with all the depth and shooting ability we have.I’ve never played basketball but I know A lot of suicides get ran for conditioning.
