I believe this could be Coach Saban's best staff at Alabama. Premier recruiters and lots of teaching experience.

I'll wait until we see the product to make a serious judgement but my feel all along was that we made a significant upgrade at OL, a solid upgrade at RB and OC, and made an across the board defensive staff upgrade. Doesn't hurt that Sark is getting an offense about as loaded as his 2005 USC outfit. Defense ought to be much better if they can solidify the second ILB spot and get depth at DT.

I was just thinking this as I watched the videos. Also, seems to be more cohesion in the staff too. Everyone knows and understands their roles.

I'm just excited about the defense this year and the improvement.

Agreed.....Defense just never seemed to gel last year. Always seemed a bit confused...looking for calls, adjusting late...almost seemed surprised at times at formations.
