1985 Iron Bowl- Just a great game and ending
1993 Sugar Bowl- Seeing beat them down was absolutely awesome! Got back to Pensacola late, but had to open our retail store the next morning. Hardly slept, but was so excited I couldn't sleep. Didn't need any!
1977 Louisville Homecoming game. My roommate and I drove from Dayton Ohio Friday and it was my first game. I thought I had died and gone to Heaven. The Bama cheerleaders were in front of us. Watching Coach Bryant walk by me on the fence was awesome. I held my breath. Whatva wonderful experience

My favorites go back to the 1970's and 80's. I cannot remember exact years, but beating UT in Knoxville was a fun one. It was pouring and UA emptied the UT stands by halftime. We dominated their lines on both sides of the ball.
I suspect this was the 1980 game.

Except for 1978, the Knoxville games of the 70s were close at halftime. And we lost in Ob-Knoxville in 1982 and 1984.

1980 is the only year where it rained and the game was over at the half so that's probably it.

I’ve been to several games in person, but many of those have been lower tier opponents that ended up in Alabama blow-out wins (fun, but not as memorable as some of the more competitive games).

Some of the memorable games I have attended:

1987 Florida at Legion Field (my first in-person game attended) Lost 24-13 to the Emmitt Smith led Gators in his “break-out” game.

1992 Southern Miss. W 17-10. Alabama D looked incredible, but I left the game feeling shaky on the season because the O looked weak and directly set up the 10 points for Southern Miss. I remember reading John Pruitt’s column (Huntsville Times Sports Editor) on Sunday saying that “Defense is why Alabama will win and win big in 1992.” Southern Miss had 3 first downs and 54 total yards in the game.

2003 Tennessee. 5 OT game that ended in loss 51-43. Memorable in a disappointing way. There were several plays that if Alabama made any one of the game would have ended with an Alabama win.

But, like a couple others I have seen post in this thread my favorite game that I've attended:

2008 Clemson in Atlanta. W 34-10. First game of the year, Saban’s second season. It was obvious from that game that the team had bought in, and this kind of signaled the beginning of the return to long-term relevance.

I just glanced at the thread title and thought it said:

"Favorite Alabama Game You Attended In Prison"! :giggle:
Closest that comes to that is me watching the 2001 Iron Bowl in a room outnumbered massively by AU fans.

We curbstomped them 31-7 rushing for well over 300 yards and both Beard and Galloway ran for over 100 yards each.

Zow had a pretty good game too.

If it weren’t for me obnoxiously cheering you could have heard a pin drop.

It was GREAT

I’m dating myself, but I was at the Archie Manning/Scott Hunter epic event as a Bama student back in the 1960’s. It was a cold, drippy night and the defenses couldn’t stop either team. Manning was incredibly good and we still won !!! I’m still exhausted from just being there.
