(Tag him if you know him) • I certainly don’t want to villainize sharks, this is something that’s all too common in the waters around New Smyrna Beach. We are in their territory and sometimes those little (thankfully he was little) guys like to enact the stand your ground law. In the surf, cloudy water. Bull sharks do this. They see flashes and think it`s bait fish.

Just keep an eye out - when bait fish start jumping out of the water - get your feet up!

We're certainly not Hawaii or Indo or......but we do have fairly consistent surf and nice warm water most of the year. A lot of days too when conditions come together and help produce some nice clean waves that are plenty large enough to enjoy. My friend David here on one of the "Larry" days last week......
