Holy cow. I just woke up on my couch and had to come to the computer and check the score. I've been battling a nagging case of bronchitis brought on by a Mycoplasma infection and not getting much quality sleep.
I fell asleep right after Oklahoma scored their first TD early in the second quarter and missed the entire game. When I first woke up, I decided to re-watch what I missed since I recorded the game on the DVR. I then realize that there was a "The First 48" marathon on A&E yesterday (there was a huge list of episodes recorded yesterday) and my DVR stopped recording at just about the time I went asleep because it ran out of space.
After looking at the box score, however, it seems that the Florida defense handled the "greatest offense in history" just about in the manner that I figured it would.
I knew that the Big12 would be exposed and they have been. Their offensive juggernauts are no match for a talented defense and there appears to be no highly talented defenses in the Big12.
The question all season long was "are the Big12 offenses that good or are their defenses that bad?" That has been answered. Another question was "are the SEC offenses that bad or are their defenses that good?" I believe that one has been laid to rest as well.
