Former Bama asst. coach Bobby Marks passed away monday......

He was on coach Bryant's staff from '71 to '82. Thoughts and prayers to the Marks family.

That's terrible. His son, Bobby Marks, is the pastor at Cornerstone Church in Dothan, AL. He played safety at Bama. He's been a dear friend to me over the years. Thanks for posting this, because I wouldn't have known to call him otherwise.

I didn't know him, but from all I've heard of him, he must have been a fine man. My prayers to his family.
