Victor+Y had over 1 1/2 leters of fluid taken out of his lungs and feels better. He is handling the chemo well and the doctors are pleased that his body is receiving it well. He will check out of the hospital today and then return Thursday for another round of chemo. The Houston Alabama Alumni chapter has found a furnished apartment owned by one of the chapter members where Victor +Y and his mom will stay between chemo treatments. It is even close to the MD Anderson Cancer Hospital where Vicor +Y is receiving treatment. One of the local churches of some of the chapter members is providing some spiritual support for the family. Victor +Y's Mom has been very appreciative of the local pastor's visits. The chapter and church are also providing food for the family.
The Houston Alumni family was having a viewing party for the Vandy game and donations were made to the fund set up for Victor +Y. The members of the Houston Alumni Chapter have really stepped up to help. The Alabama family is a special group.
