Question: Fourth down and 3 from the LSU 34 what is the Call?

Not to worry we win 17 to 10 and LSWHO has to catch up from 17 down!!!

I kinda like the idea of a deep pass from bunched run formation. You get one on one coverage - worst case ball gets intercepted deep in their territory. If not that I like an option play in this situation.

But I would also consider taking the penalty and punting even if it does result in a touchback. 14 yes will be critical in this game. Your offensive changes drastically from your own 10yd, 20yd, to 34yd line. A couple of decent plays from there with their punter and they have completely flipped field position on you.

Wait for the next commercial to end :D

Field goal or take a delay of game penalty and punt .

Field goal.
Best case scenario: get 3 points and pin them deep on the kick off
Worst case: miss and give them the ball at the 34 or they run the kick off back
Remember the score of the last game. Take the points when you can....

I predict in this game that it's either Shelley or punt. So if he can kick a 46 yarder, then let him try. If not punt or pooch it.

Foster can try to win his job back next year, but it's to late and too important to try to pull him out of a slump.

What you mean to say is: It's 4th and 3 from the LSU 34. Bama is on top 31-10 with only a few seconds remaining in the game. Rammer Jammer's already rolling through the stands. Blake Sims is at QB so he takes a knee for the win!

Drop back with Trent pass protecting, then turning for the screen. QB draw-haven't seen that one. Blake Sims runs the option or wildcat. Either way, if we don't make it thry're still at the 33/32. That's better than the field position we gave them on the missed kicks. Trent off left tackle with Jesse Williams at fullback. HMMM

If I was going for it..I'd run the same play we ran against auburn a couple years ago that won the Iron Bowl..When Upchurch snuck out of the backfield & caught the game winning TD....

We ran that this year already....or did I mistake the play. Gah. Now I can't remember which game, and who caught it. Thought we did though.

No trick plays or formations/personnel we haven't done all year.

Cade will have had a month and a half off. If that looks like a good thing at practice, kick. If not, go for it.

Many seem to think we have a magical punter who punts it inside the five every kick. We don't.

However you decide to do it, I think you have to go for it if the FG isn't a sure thing. The reason why we shouldn't pooch punt in that situation against LSU is that, as good as Wing is, they could get one first down and still punt us back to our 30.

No field goal unless it's to pad an already big lead.

Trent tells the OL to block like the world ends today if they don't, and Trent gets that 3 Yards and probably much more.

Take the QB out! Have two tight ends. No wide receivers! Put 300+ pound tackles (or possibly #41 and #30) in as blocking backs and snap the ball to Trent and let him find a HOLE or two. This is a modification of the Bulldozer Offense.
