Yes, that would be my call. Pooch punts rather than long field goal attempts.pooch punt
If you do that, you need to give them that same look but change the play. I bet they'll be sitting on the tide end coming back across the formation. I think we've about used up that route for the year. Some have mentioned a field goal. What about doing a similar play like we ran against Arky? Didn't Cade line up next to AJ in the Shotgun on that play? I say hand it off to him and let him show what he's made of.
Yeah, it sounds ridiculous, but do you think LSU would expect that? Me either.
Of course we would use the same formation. Otherwise, it wouldn't work as well.If you do that, you need to give them that same look but change the play. I bet they'll be sitting on the tide end coming back across the formation. I think we've about used up that route for the year.
give the foster kid a break. as if he didn't have enough to worry about with the chokefest on nov 5th and the prospect of having to make another pressure packed kick on the 9th and now you want to give the kid the ball instead of oh say...trent richardson. and you want our much maligned kicker to grind out yards against lsu's defense on a run play. Some have mentioned a field goal. Yea, I was basically agreeing with you but it didn't really come across like that. Sorry. I would go for it all day because the chances of a touchback on a punt are really good and would net only 14 yards of field position. I would go 4 WR and TR next to AJ in the gun. Roll AJ to the right with TR showing block, then slipping out for a screen to the left.Of course we would use the same formation. Otherwise, it wouldn't work as well.
