I'm not even kidding I'm so confused by the new expanded Conferences and the folding of others.

I thought the Main ones left are

SEC, B1G, ACC, and BIG12 and then the main Pac-12 teams went to the B1G and BIG12

Technically, even a G5 team could get a first round bye. The 4 highest ranked conference championsx get a bye. The 5th highest ranked conference champion also gets in, but they can be seeded anywhere, I believe. The 2 pac 12 teams are basically independent but its still a conference.
