Gems on streaming networks part 2

Disclaimer on Apple + is a very well done psychological thriller with Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline. 7 total episodes. Nominated for awards. Well worth a look , but NOT FOR CHILDREN.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga on Netflix. Directed by George Miller - 2.5 hours. I watched it in two sessions.

Thought it was best from the War Rig being attacked by Octoboss forward. That fight scene was epic and closer to the original franchise content. Up to that point it was mostly just setting the plot.

Amazing movie though - especially if you're into post-apocalyptic films, like I am.

Recently finished SILO on Apple + (and Amazon Prime me thinks). Two seasons. Very well done with spectacular set design. Sci fi set many years in the future where the population lives underground in a 100 level Silo. Watch at least two episodes. Well acted and somehow weirdly enthralling. It will pull you in.

This was a fantastic series.

A few I have recently finished or currently watching:

Dark Matter (Apple) - I really enjoyed this sci-fi series. Not sure if they are doing more seasons or not.

Presumed Innocent (Apple) - Courtroom drama that I found enjoyable.

Silo, season 2 (Apple) - it started out a little slow but picked up steam in the second half of the season.

Landman (Paramount) - typical Sheridan show but I love most of his shows, so this one was right up my ally. Billy Bob Thornton was fantastic.

The Agency (Paramount) - really good espionage show that kept me entertained. Great acting all around in this one.

Paradise (Hulu) - Season 1 is still ongoing and it is really good so far.

Severance, season 2 (Apple) - 4 episodes in and I am enjoying it just as much as I did season 1.

I'm on 2:1 for Severance. That show is wild.

We recently finished season 2 of Shrinking. It has some Lasso vibes. The actor that plays Roy Kent is a writer for both shows.

We recently finished season 2 of Slow Horses. That one is good too.

I'm almost done with Vietnam: The War That Changed America. I've enjoyed it.

All of the above are on Apple

I have got to go back and start Shogun over and finish it this time. I loved the book. The series is on Hulu.

Just started watching The Pitt on Max and it is really good.

I loved ER back in the day and this is like a sequel especially since it stars Noah Wyle ad has the same producers as ER. The Crichton estate is even suing saying WB walked away from negotiations for an ER reboot and then made The Pitt.

Yeah, very good--it's basically a cross between ER and 24.

Just started watching Paradise on Hulu. Sort of a sci-fi murder mystery. While the plot stretches belief at times, it is done SO well that you don't mind. Sterling K. Brown is the lead, and he ALWAYS brings it.

I'm waiting on more Silo - it's really good, but a bit slow at times. Really like it overall, can't wait to see where they take it.

Severance is easily the best show in the last few decades, imo. Incredible in every way. Just finished S2EP4 and my mind is blown once again. A must watch.

That episode was crazy. I think we just finished 6. I tried to initiate a talk like Mr. Milchick day at home, but none of us could pull it off.

My wife kept saying that SILO is slow, but I can't turn it off:unsure: Something about it just pulls you in.

Going to start Severance.

At the end of Severance 2:9: My new favorite phrase is devour feculence

At the end of 2:10: The writers, producers, and especially Ben Stiller need to devour heaping piles of feculence.
