Who could have foreseen that Bo Nix would be a better NFL QB than Mac Jones and Bryce Young?

Bo was a 5 year college starter. Mac played one, Young played two. Makes a HUGE difference.

Steelers are just Lamar and Derrick’s daddy. They are incredibly mortal against that defense.

But it’s the greatest NFL rivalry as it’s almost always a close defensive game.

Maybe but that’s like saying “what if Russell Wilson throws the ball in the stands instead of trying to make a play on the goal line”. Steelers would have been driving down for their 8th FG and the win instead of trying to run the clock out.

The game was lost by the Ravens because of two fumbles by their running backs and 12 penalties. In big games that gets you beat. Harbaugh has gotten very lax on discipline on penalties and is usually facing 1st and 2nd and 20’s against teams like the Chiefs, Steelers, and Bills. They really get in their own way and do way too much

I thought I told you that before. But yes I am and have been since the early 90’s.

I’m just having a little fun at the Ravens and Lamar defenders expense. Yes we might have the best defense in the league and an improved passing game based on the last few years, but I’m not so drunk on beating the rat birds that I believe we beat Mahomes or Allen in January just yet. We can but I still think not picking up another receiver at the deadline might hurt us down the line. But sometimes in January, having a defense on the right day may get you to a Super Bowl so who knows, but I still think winning the North and 1 playoff game is our ceiling and the Bills and Chiefs are probably your AFC reps.

This year has a number of really great defenses with solid offenses to go with them. The Steelers still lack a legit #1 WR and it will likely cost them in the playoffs.
