The divisional round coming up is typically my favorite weekend, followed closely by the conference championship games. The Superb Owl is usually a letdown after those games.

We have had a few nice Super Bowls lately. You are right though usually the division championship game are the better games. I expect this year to be no different.

Yep, without the turnovers Detroit might have won. Hard to say because their defense has been ravaged by injuries these last few months and they just could not stop Washington.

I always bet against overly aggressive coaches. It’s why I don’t trust Lanning or Kiffin in college. The lions coach makes them look more sane.

Lamar is the most overrated quarterback in the league. He is a good quarterback but if you put him in a position to win big he will make dumb dumb mistakes like that. He is top 10 quarterback in the league but all of this “he is 2nd only to mahomes” is a gross misunderstanding what makes Mahomes great and just living off of stats and YouTuber clips.

Lamar would also be horrible to average with just about every other team in the league outside of the Chiefs. The Ravens have fully formed an offense around his skill set. Not many teams would base their whole offense off a gimmick quarterback.

Henry has elevated this team to a SB contender. Otherwise this would have been the typical down year for the Ravens

It’s really no different than playing in rain. And as we saw in Tampa the last two times we went it can make a field even more unplayable.

However, nearly all northern stadiums in the NFL have state of the art fields that are specifically designed to keep the surface playable. Yes places like Foxboro and Orchard can be miserably with cold swirling win, but I would much prefer that over having to play in Tampa or Miami in a January downpour. I’ve seen far and away more non snow playoff games up north than I’ve seen horrible conditions in the South during the regular season.

Side note: the first SEC championships in Birmingham quite possibly may have been some of the worst postseason conditions in the last 40 years. It was a huge reason why they moved to the dome.

If you always bet against Detroit the last 2 seasons then you lost a ton of money. They lost because of their turnovers AND their injuries on defense, not the play calling.
