General NFL Discussion

I would be sitting Darnold and Walker this 4th quarter. No sense taking a chance on injuries to those guys. Especially with Darnold nursing an oblique injury.

Since blowing a 28-3 lead, they are on their 4th coach

Well i watched an interview with Bill Cowher and 90% of it he was blasting lane kiffin. But a question came up if he ever entertained other nfl job offers while the Steelers coach. He basically said “no”, and it wasn’t because the Steelers are a top job it’s mostly because being a nfl HC anywhere is good enough for people in the league. It’s why you don’t see guys jump from team to team without being fired. He basically also hinted at teams who are firing every 2 years really don’t understand organizational structure and player development. Its has very little to do with the HC and the HC is usually used as a scapegoat for those who aren’t really paying attention.

The failcons had to fire the previous coach. He lost to teams consistently he had no business losing to. He made the jets and dolphins look good and then somehow would beat good teams. If Deboer beat uga but lost to Kentucky and East Carolina, would you keep him? Even after only 2 years? Morris and previous ciaches couldn't win the worst division in the NFL. I could win the NFC South.

Question: I missed the last few plays of Broncos/Bill. So Nix fractured his ankle on the “kneel down” to set up the winning FG? Is that correct?

Edit: never mind. I see where one of the Broncos sites is saying he actually injured it earlier in the overtime with about 6 minutes to go.
