Tell me how this makes sense? Alabama has more recruits, and a higher average per recruit , but Georgia has the #1 Class? Jeez Rivals, that doesnt even make sense?

Same number of 5 stars , 6 more 4 stars

I believe that the average is just the average star rating. Some 4 stars are higher ranked than others, and so generate more points in their scoring system.

I could see that if they signed the same number of kids, but Bama has 3 more kids overall and 6 more four star kids than Georgia. Those 4 star have to have more points the 3 star kids.

Rivals for some reason ranked Tanner Bowles and DJ Dale as 3* while every other service ranked them as 4* and this was the difference.

Some of them are already bragging about having the #1 class two years in a row......
Wonder what the rankings will look like when services do their "reranking 2019 classes" in a few years and George Pickens is listed as "did not qualify."

Rivals will do about anything, including rigging the numbers, to avoid making Alabama #1 at anything.
