I honestly don't recall a time in my life when Cecil Hurt didn't cover Alabama. I remember in the late 80s reading his articles at my grandmother's home in Tuscaloosa on Sunday mornings. Cecil needs to get better soon, it's not quite Alabama football without him covering it.
