Hamas attacks Israel - Part 2

-snip-And if it could have happened a long time ago, why didn't the imbecile who was president between Obama and Biden take care of it?

The Abraham Accords are a set of agreements that established diplomatic normalization between Israel and several Arab states, beginning with the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. Announced in August and September 2020 and signed in Washington, D.C. on September 15, 2020, the Accords were mediated by the United States under President Donald Trump. The UAE and Bahrain became the first Arab countries to formally recognize Israel since Jordan in 1994. In the months that followed, Sudan and Morocco also agreed to normalize relations with Israel, although Sudan's agreement remains unratified as of 2024.

In July 2025, it was reported that the second Trump administration was seeking to expand the Accords to include Syria, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia.

I'm not going to go into all the Mid-East accomplishments of Barack and Joe......but everything changed when Trump bombed the nuclear facilities of Iran earlier this year. I'm not sure that happens with any other president.

The Peace President!

Addressing Trump’s Claims About Ending Multiple Wars

Q: Did President Donald Trump solve seven wars in seven months?

A: Trump has claimed he “ended” six or seven wars since returning to the White House in January. Experts in international relations said the president has had a significant role in ending fighting in four conflicts, though officials in one country refute Trump’s claim. But some of the international disagreements Trump cites have not been wars, and some clashes have not ended, experts said.

I think it's so damned funny he UNDERCOUNTS his bankruptcies (counting three filings on the same place as ONE) while EXAGGERATING the wars he hasn't actually ended (and that will continue long after he's in Hell).

Move along folks, nothing of interest here except some "peaceful" Palestinians doing whatever it is they do.
Not surprised. When you let terrorist remain in charge, terrorist acts of violence are part of the package. A squirrel will always act like a squirrel.

I can’t wait to see all the protesters who were furious over Israel’s treatment of Palestinians come out and protest Hamas’s treatment of the same people.

Still waiting.

Son of Hamas' founder, Mosab Hasan Yousef, silences Abby Martin:

"Palestine was never born. How can you free it? It was never there, it is just a colonial entity. There is no such thing as Palestine. It's about time to retire, find a different job."

Holy crap, I'm just speechless.
In the "Abby Hoffman as journalist of the year," I'm going to take Mosab Hasan Yousef as a vote for "no."

Five minutes from my office in Flagler College - a beautiful campus filled with, like everywhere, dopey kids who are maximum passion for the latest trend but low on intelligence. Earlier this week, I had my lunch across the street from the college, and when I left I crossed paths with a group of kids wearing keffiyehs. I asked them if they were cos-playing the Palestinians who were murdering Palestinians or the Palestinians who were being murdered by Palestinians. After some crickets, to the surprise of no one, they condemned Israel and Trump. "And Hamas?," I queried. More crickets. And so it goes ... o_O

It is not surprising. There is an old documentary about him that I watched 10 years ago:

"Both sides" is a phrase used to speak about US politics but everyone should realize it is very appropriately used in regard to the Middle East. They all hold deep, unresolved pain along with the intense and seething rage which naturally accompanies that. If anybody truly thought this was over, you do not understand either side. "Never Again" is not just a phrase used in regard to the Holocaust. It references everything and all pain inflicted upon Jews since Biblical days. Peoples of Palestine, too, have been mistreated horribly by those who governed them forever. That sort of pain and rage cannot be ordered out of existence by some ignorant, two bit, yahoo of a so called "President" who thinks he holds the reins over the world. And it ain't workin'. https://www.npr.org/2025/10/19/nx-s...-other-of-breaching-fragile-ceasefire-in-gaza

Hamas ois the scum of the earth and the sooner thety are wiped out to a man, the better for the Palestinians. Those scumbags make Nazis look like nice guys.
But the people now governed by Hamas are a mixed bag. Before Bibi went on his big ol' "kill 'em all" spree, quite a few just wanted to enter peaceful negotiations. I doubt many feel that way, now. I think Netanyahu just built a bigger hornets nest for Jews everywhere. I'm not alone in that.

It is more complicated than that. The most horrific killings on October 7 were not done by Hamas, but by non-hamas Palestinians who crossed the fence that was breached by Hamas.
And, yes, Hamas is the scum of the earth, but situation over there is very complex
