Has there been any response from CKD or players regarding playoff snub or bowl game?

What qualifies as a "snub"? If we had lost only 1 game or none, I'd say it was a "snub". I wanted to get into the playoffs as any "positive" thinking fan would, but at 3 losses I don't consider it a snub. Was i excited we had a chance? Yes! I think beating the teams that we beat (Including the SEC Champ) gave us a great argument. Sometimes you lose arguments and need to move on!

This was about inclusion over merit. In that sense, it was not a snub. That is, until you realize that you were literally chosen to be excluded to favor another, clearly less capable, team. And then, again, you were snubbed.

yeah, Alabama was snubbed.

Thanks PA… Don’t know what the long haul will be with CKD, however I like his approach to things. We as fans don’t like the losses or the low moments of the game and in our minds changes need to follow. Rarely we might be right but more than often we are making emotional responses in the moment that would deter our progress later.

i am proud this man is our coach above others that were considered for our vacancy especially Norvell. Last year when it was obvious why his team was left out he whined and moaned ; threatened lawsuits etc. so much so that his entire team of mercenaries jumped ship and left their team mates to be humiliated in their bowl match up.

I am proud that CKD spoke like a man pointed the team and fans past disappointment to the future. There may be a few unexpected and expected opt outs and transfers but the ones that remain will accomplish great things.

I also will be in the stands in Tampa to cheer our team and coaches on as they extend their ten wins per season streak !

Nick basically "called out" Bama in his response to the teams taken. He said all the teams left out had control of their destiny multiple times in the season and couldn't "take care of business". He mentioned losing to teams they weren't supposed to and said the committee has the right teams in the playoffs.

He also went off on SOS…that was his 1st real test as a media guy not to lose his tin horn goose droppings on set. He was not pleased…

Yea i thought he handled it well you watch a guy for 20 plus years in the public eye you could see the anger boiling up in him. They were almost prodding him to set him off and he didn't. All he has accomplished i almost felt bad for him. I know he signed up for it but I could imagine me and my reaction when the announcement came I wouldn't have wanted anyone to see me. He was all professional wouldn't expect anything less from the goat.

Exactly, his point was the SMU shouldn't have been #8 in the first place and they should have been playing the conf title game as if they had to win to get in, which they did not.
If you remember last year, the committee backed itself in the corner ranking Oregon extremely high during the season and at the end they were a bust.

When you beat more ranked teams than nearly half the playoff teams combined.

It's easy to "not lose three games" when you're playing Daisy Duke University every week.
