Have you ever walked out on a movie?

A friend of mine saw Dark Phoenix (well half of it) and ended up walking out. He actually asked me this same question.

I have done it once. The Mask with Jim Carey. I thought it was awful and walked out. It is the only movie I have done that.

I sat through The Recruit. It was so bad I almost walked out, but stuck it out. It was so forgettable that I ended up renting it on 3 separate occasions. I actually forgot that I had already seen it.

What say you?

First time I did it, it was "Barry Lyndon"...

Yes Pirates of the Caribbean Dead mans chest, but it was because I was sick.

I mostly fall asleep when its bad or just suck it up. The closest I came to actually walking out on a movie was Hannah.

I have fallen asleep during a few. I do try and just suck it up because I have already spent the money and don't want to waste it. My friend that walked out of Dark Phoenix had invited me to go but I declined. I told him I thought it would be terrible because Sansa cannot act her way out of a wet paper bag. He texted me later telling me I was right.

I forgot 2 that I walked out of a room where they were being played. The South Park movie ( I have finished it since) and Heavy Metal. I went to school with a bunch of computer science majors. They think Heavy Metal is "awesome". I think it is the worst piece of crap ever made. I am fairly certain we weren't talking about the same movie.

It was a rental that someone else had paid for but I walked out on PeeWee’s Big Adventure.

I have, but it was years ago and I cannot remember the name of it. Kinda surprises me, you'd think it being that bad would form a memory, but I'm drawing a blank.

Walked out of a ton of movies in my own den - things either the wife or the chirruns were watching - but only one in the theater. And now I'm too old to recall what it was...

My wife and I walked out on "Fist Fight". I can stand some yuck factor with movies, but that one is ridiculous. We sat there for 7-8 minutes and couldn't believe the amount of unnecessary language, porn and general crap in that short amount of time.

I've only walked out of one movie and it really wasn't my choice. It was in HS and I was on a date. Can't even remember the movie but roughly halfway through the movie I guess the cussing and handful of unexpected sex scenes were just too much for her. She leaned over and said "I can't watch anymore of this" got up and walked out.
