I am much more nervous about this game than the UF game. Not because I think it is a tougher game, but because the expectations for this team has changed. I knew we would be better than last year, but I never dreamed we would be 6-0 at this point. I just don't want this positive press to go away. I know how fickle the media is and as soon as Bama drops a game, they'll be back to their old ways of Bama bashing.

Dont worry my friend Saturday begins the dawn of a new day and a new era in Crimson Tide history.

No one wants that to happen, but if it does I'm still excited about the program this year and the effort put forth by the players.

In almost everyone's estimation, Bama has exceeded expectations. That's all anyone could ask of these young men.

Now, the 2 real questions are...

1) How far can they exceed expectations.

2) How much support will the program be lose if they receive a blemish on their record?

I don't know about #1 and the answer to #2 will be none from me. These kids and the program have excelled this year already.

Well, if we lose I'm no less of a fan. We'll still have our goals in sight except for a NC. I think it's fair to say this yr. that one loss knocks a team out of NC contention (not every yr. but definitely this one).

We'll still have our eyes set on the SEC West crown, but it sure would be easier with a win Sat. than a loss. A loss puts AU ahead and in the driver's seat unless they lose. If they lose LSU is in the driver's seat with a huge game in Tuscaloosa looming down the road.

We have the most difficult road by far, and I'd much rather continue to look at it from an undefeated point.
