I would wager it doesn’t. Saban doesn’t need ESPN’s money and I don’t see him toeing the company line.Saban is the only one that has been publicly against it. Now that he’s working for ESPN, I’m curious to see if his public position changes.

Yes, and they would lose, so it probably won't happen. So what happens when the schools get together and agree they aren’t going to pay the absurd amounts some kids want,, and follow through on it together? Will they be sued on anti-trust grounds?
They won’t hang onto him very long then.I would wager it doesn’t. Saban doesn’t need ESPN’s money and I don’t see him toeing the company line.
I honestly think they will do everything they can to avoid the subject where he has a chance to comment. I’m sure someone there knows they won’t change this mind but I’m also sure there’s also that brash, full-of-themselves person there that thinks they should and can. They won’t hang onto him very long then.

I don’t disagree with you. But it “could happen”. l’m just looking at varying ways this whole thing could get worse. It could just be the schools quit paying the “visit fee” and agree with each other not to pay it. Now they are “colluding” and harming the ability for a minor to make money.Blue font...?
Schools aren't going to cooperate with each other to do this.![]()
