12 teams, but I think it could be 14 that are eligible. We could even have a team that might win the SEC tournament that otherwise wouldn't have made it.

This year that would be amazing. Because there are 7 legit sweet 16 teams in conference. For one of the bottom four to win 5 straight would be crazy wild

I wil say 11; there are always a couple of spots taken by unexpected conference winners

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
After ESPN fine tuned their BPI it looks a lot more realistic now.

SEC has 7 teams that are stone cold locks (95% or better)

aTm, Bama, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Ole Miss

3 that should be in (70-94%)

Mississippi State (94%), Mizzou (90%) and Oklahoma (72%)

and 4 true bubble teams

Texas (53%), Vanderbilt (49%), UGA (39%) and Arkansas (31%)

these projections were from before tonight’s games so I imagine Arkansas had improved their odds a bit, OU has slipped to the bubble and Mizzou is knocking on the door of being the 8th lock.
