Question: How much longer will Freeze be the head coach at Aubarn?

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

Interesting article.
I take everything Evans says with a grain of salt. He's a big Bama homer so he might be playing with the AU fanbase.
Auburn's problem (offensively) is at one position, and that's quarterback. The kid cannot pass the ball effectively. It was their problem last year. They didn't have a quarterback that could pass the ball and when you can't pass, your offense runs about as smooth as trying to roll a cinder block across a football field.

If Freeze can get a quarterback they would have a very good offense. They've got very, very talented WR's and Freeze has always been able to run the ball well. But all of that doesn't matter if your quarterback can't pass the ball worth a darn.
Shhhh...they haven't figured that out yet, apparently.

But the sweet irony is that Freeze and JA are only at AU for one reason and one reason only: they both had beaten Bama in the not-too-recent past.

I think barney is going to keep things close to the vest. I mean, they dropped a lot of cash for sleaze and if the right coach is not available they could ride another year with him and try to NIL their way for some dudes in the offseason. But if Norvell is fired before the end of the season you can bet sleaze is gone and hello zipperhead.

He left the forums after being reprimanded a few times. He was on a very short leash at the end.

Unfortunate.

I really liked him and agreed with his opinions way more times than not.

But it’s good to know it’s not illness related or anything because I was worried about him in that regard.

Thank you for adding some clarity.

As posters here know - we don't have to agree with what you so, but you need to follow the rules as they are in place.

We're one of the few forums that actively protect fans of other teams just as we do our own - as long as they follow the rules.

As BamaNation says, it's a benevolent dictatorship. :)

At 59 years of age, I realize (statistically speaking) that I have more miles in my rearview mirror than I do in front of my windshield. Over the last decade I’ve come to embrace, appreciate and value the pursuit of a peaceful, calm existence…void of negativity and turmoil. People who insist on stirring up drama, chaos and contention are swiftly removed from my circle of being. This is the reason I choose to spend a portion of my remaining existence here on this forum…and I have the utmost respect for each and every moderator here who ensures that the environment remains civil and healthy. And most of all, thanks to our “Benevolent Dictator”…your vision of what a place like this should look like is golden.

@BearFoot - many thanks for the kind words and I agree 1000% on your thoughts about our mods. I still remember where I was (on a short plane ride from NYC to Boston) about 27+ years ago when I wrote down the first words of what became the mission & vision for the site. I don't think I've changed a word of it in that time. Didn't have to because our moderators and so many, like you, bought into that vision. Thanks for being one of those many!

BN

PS> like you, I don't "do" drama and have 0 tolerance of it in my or my family's lives! :D
