Question: How was your Spring Break?

Just finishing up Lily's Spring Break. I took the past week off and spent the first half of last week with the family in Naples, the Everglades, and Miami. The highlight was a couple of airboat tours.

Had a late lunch at a cute waterfront Cuban restaurant.

Spent the evening in Miami visiting with Lily's boyfriend's parents. Good family. Mom is a biomedical engineer. Dad works for Homeland Security.

Went to Zoo Miami the next day.



We did the obligatory bird feeding. It was a minor success in that this was the first time in three (after Tampa and Jax) that Lily didn't get bitten by the birds. 🤷‍♂️

Got back home mid-week and mainly spent the last few days in the garden trimming things up and finishing clearing out the debris that accumulated over the winter.






Getting back to being suitable for guests, I think.

Have you guys had your Spring Break yet? How was it? Alternatively, what are you planning?

I bought another motorcycle. Did some work on my accounts and here at home. Same old same old.

Did have to deal with some traffic though - same old same old.

Cool photos, @Bodhisattva - I lived in Naples for a year and a half (Royal Harbor) before moving to Ft. Myers. Spent time in Miami couple times in my life with 2 Miami girlfriends. And a 3rd GF in Coral Springs. Have family in Lake Worth and Wellington.

Florida is a big state with lots going on!

My employer at the time was a multi-millionaire who's winter home is in Port Royal. He bought the place next door.....for his "guest house"!
