Why in the world would a country apportion their representation (meaning voting) based on numbers that include people who are not citizens and cannot legally vote. (1) Immigration judges are not ALJs.
(2) They don’t issue warrants.
(3) ICE “administrative warrants” are signed by ICE officers, not judges.
(4) They do not authorize home entry. Only a judicial warrant does.

From what I heard, in addition to the father fleeing.....the mother refused to take her 5 year old child in and I.C.E. had no choice but to re-locate the child into alternative care.

The article by the Guardian seems to contridict the ICE explanation. The father did not flee, he and the child were detained at the same time. I'll believe the Guardian explanation before ICE until proven different. After the lies about the woman shot in the head at point blank range, all of which is documented in videos, it would be ridiculous to do otherwise.
