I think the CBS HD looks good, but I really think that HD looks better for night games, which also happen to be on ESPN HD, so I don't mind it not being on CBS, like he said, more time for the ribs to slow cook on the BBQ

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't the last time we won at Auburn it was a night game on ESPN, I remember Shaun Alexander running for a couple of TD's. We were behind in the second half and a sack in the end zone on the Auburn QB got our come back started.

No, it was a 2:30 game. It was night when it ended, though.

I remember that game well. I was sitting near a bar at Applebee's on Lakeland Dr. in Flowood. We had just taken the kids to the after-hours clinic that morning. After I ate, I sat at the bar with some good Ole Miss fans (yes, they do exist), and we had a BLAST watching "BEARD...HITS ANOTHER LEVEL!! TOUCHDOWN, BAMA!!" The Ole Miss fans got into it, being it was still only a couple of years removed from "Tuberville to Auburn".

Yeah, I just looked that game up. CBS carried that game but I did remember it ending after dark. BTW, Ole Miss beat us that year, I guess thats why they were being so generous

LOL! Yeah, the Ole Miss guys didn't hate us so much that season. That was another game that slipped away from us that year. Of course, we paid them back to the tune of 42-7 the next season.

FYI - Raycom just bought out the Lincoln Financial sports division, so now the name of the 11:30am broadcast will change again, if they even continue to braodcast it at all.
