From what I've read Harbaugh did a great job at a program with no scholarships. I think Stanford will be markedly better next year. Might have been a steal.

Was hoping the Atlanta Offensive Coordinator would get that job. I guess Stanford people are pretty smart after all.

He sounds like he might be the real deal as a coach. When I first remember him getting the job originally at San Diego, I was skeptical, thinking "This guy doesn't know what the heck he's doing" but I was wrong. He has good schemes and the players love playing for him. It'll be interesting. However, that's quite a jump from what Division III to IA?

No, but I guaranty you that some sports personality (I refuse to use the word journalist) will be reporting that Harbaugh is another coach who turned Bama down.

He's probably a good hire for them. However, I'm very disapointed that they didn't hire Al Borges._frown:
