And yet an SMU booster said "it's a couple hundred million, I'm not losing sleep over it" last week. Texans are weird lol
Lots of talk from texans - we've known this for years. Easy enough to run your mouth about 'couple hundred million', let's see if they actually write the checks.

The phrase "all hat no cattle" didn't appear out of nowhere...

Who is everyone going to cheer for Saturday in the Auburn/Texas AM game?

I don't really like either coach or either team. Wish they could both lose.
For this season, although it is too early to tell right now, I will cheer for whatever helps Bama win the West . I do think Texas AM wins the game Saturday.
the meteorite to hit the 50yd line about the time they kick off....

I've been in College Station working since 1 week before the season started. My hotel is just up the block from campus/the stadium. I haven't heard a peep about TAMU football. There's no buzz.

That said....if/when, we go to Kyle Field and lay an egg, they'll extend him for 10 more years. I say all the time, AU fired Gus 4 years too late. We were the ones who kept him employed there because we kept going there laying eggs

Kevin Sumlin, Johnny Manziel, Gus Malzahn and Jimbo Fisher all owe Saban 7 figures each as a commission for the money they got from beating us, no matter how miraculous or improbable the wins. Jimmy Sexton too for his cut of their contracts.

If not for Bryce Young's miracle in 2021, I have no doubt Harsin would still be on the Plains.

If Hugh Freeze hadn't frittered away the goodwill on, "ladies of easy virtue," he'd still be in Oxford clipping those coupons as well.

I've never understood why Jimbo as HC or Jimbo as an offensive mind were both considered too be among the elite in college football..

I can't stand him as a HC or as a supposed offensive mind cause he suxs really bad at being both in all honesty..

This is the reason Alabama will fall into mediocrity when Saban retires.

I’m not ready to crown Prime anything just yet, but I’m also not writing him off as a fluke either.

The absolute refusal to entertain the idea, the refusal to change with the landscape will be the reason for the fall.
It will honestly take that type of personality to have ANY shot. Think about how many tried and failed to replace the legendary one, Coach Paul Bear Bryant. It took CNS who was his own man, larger than life, and one to not take any crap from anyone who was an impediment to his vision. It will take a BIG persona.

I may be reading him wrong but I do not see Sanders becoming an aggie for any amount of money. He will stay in Boulder until he makes serious noise, at least 2-3 years. Then, he will either go to a Blue Blood or the NFL.
Only thing I see differently is it's 2-3 years max.
