Alabama recently jumped into the picture. What has McKnight interested in the Tide?

"I have interest in Alabama because I feel like I can go in there and play for Coach Saban."

Has Joe set up his official visit with the Tide yet?

"No, I have not set it up yet."

He seems genuinely torn between all the schools. I hope he does schedule a visit, that way we're in the mix.

Interesting read Surf thanks! I like the parts about USC being "a long ways from home" and when asked if he still already had his mind made up he said "well that's changed, I don't know where I'm going yet. I'm really wide open right now." I'll still feel a lot better once he actually takes an official visit, but I like our chances on that one! :BigA:

It's very interesting that he mentioned USC as being "far away from home." That tells me he may not be comfortable with the idea of attending school that far away.

Joe mentioned in a scout.com interview at the Army All-American game that he already knew which school he was going to attend but that he was going to still take his official visits before announcing for that school. Does that still stand?

but it does seem like an never ending cycle of waiting and guys its not going to get any better until Sept. 1st

because now we are all impatiently waiting for Feb. 7th, then it will be A-day and then the LONG wait until September...

I had mentione in another post that I believe he was going to commit to USC until USC started distancing themselves from Bush. At one time, his myspace page was full of USC stuff and he said that he had already made up his mind. USC refused to allow Bush on the sidelines during the Rose Bowl and have since put more distance between them and Bush. Apparently Bush is upset at how USC has done him. With McNight and Bush having become friends, it would seem natural that McNight would start to lose interest in USC.
