Josh McMillon Granted Medical Redshirt, Will Return for 6th Season

Alabama does offer a Master's Degree in ME, and with (technically) four semesters remaining on scholarship thanks to the medical RS, he could potentially finish that degree. With a Master's in ME and the right certifications, the young man could write his ticket to a number of well-paying jobs. Here's hoping he decides to play football one more year while doing so!

I agree that getting an MS that will prep him for his PE cert would be the pro move longterm.

Returning to play with Bama and possibly getting drafted into the NFL would definitely be a great challenge for Joshua. But a Mechanical Engineering degree also offers him great opportunities and challenges. I wish him the best in whatever he decides to do. I hope he returns to help the Tide shoot for another championship.
