BASED ON QB ROOM - not only the starter

UTA at 9.5 out of 10. Probably right.

Bama: 8.5 - I think I agree with Pate on JM over Jordan Palmer. Pate thinks Austin Mack is a future star.

Georgia: 9.25

UF - 8.5

OU - 7.5

LSU - 9 - For some reason I think this is way too high

UTK - 8.5 - Pate thinks guy with funny name is going to be a star

AU - 5.5 - Pate on Thorn - "He's got experience but it's mostly bad" LOL

I just can't with Pate so I'm not going to waste a minute listening to him but did he not even mention Ty?

I mean Mack is pretty Raw right now and honestly looked a bit rattled at A-Day.

The rating is on the strength of the QB room. He mentioned all the QBs. He thinks Lonergan might start at a lower level team right now. Mack is more about the future as he develops.

He notes there are two schools of thought on JM:
1. He doesn't fit CKD's type of system - which I think Pate inferred he kinda agrees with
2. There are guys like Jordan Palmer, who I understand is his QB coach, who sees great potential with JM.

The thing that the “he has tons of potential” crowd needs to understand is CKD’s offense requires a QB that is very skilled at the specific things Milroe struggles with. Quick, decisive, accurate throws are the key to CKD’s offense. Those are literally the worst parts of Milroe’s game.

But if you squint real hard and cross your fingers.....it'll be fine.

I think Pate is a joke anyway, but I really do now, because he has Milroe and the 6 million dollar man at hillbilly u on the same page , Texas and Georgia I understand not the rest

Where is the line between “potential” and “not going to happen”? at?
