ok, at the practice field, he was running full speed, passed the quarterback as soon as he released the ball, and was even with the reciever as soon as he caught it. so, judging by the flight and velocity of the ball, forrest could run 40 yards in about 3.5 seconds. he can run like the wind blows, remember.

He got the Congresssional Medal of Honor in Viet Nam by doing what Jenny told him to do--"Forrest, if you get scared, you RUN!!!" So, Forrest ran. He went back and picked up his fellow wounded soldiers and ran them out of the jungle. Forrest sure could run. I would put him at about 4.00005 40 yd dash. Nobody runs faster than a 4.0.
