I doubt the games ever ended.
The article was update because it was wrong. The GOP can't stop this, only a simple majority is needed, not 60 votes. You can actually thank the GOP for this as they lowered the threshold in 2017 to push Trump SC nominees through.![]()

I absolutely do not agree with blocking Biden’s nomination (assuming, of course, s/he is qualified). Just putting this here for discussion purposes.

PolitiFact - Joe Biden isn’t first to prioritize race, gender in picking SCOTUS nominee, as Sean Hannity claimed
Fox News host Sean Hannity misleadingly claimed that President Joe Biden was venturing into unprecedented territory withwww.politifact.com
FWIW, Lindsey Graham came out in full support of her...a rather glowing statement that not only is she a good justice, she is an outstanding person. The return of the Messiah must be imminent.Assuming that nothing negative is discovered during this vetting process, I'm guessing it may be Childs. Without Clyburn's support during the primary Biden may not have won the nomination and she is Clyburn's favorite. Also, with 8 of the nine justices graduates from either Harvard or Yale (ACB is ND), it would be nice to see some diversity there.
He also doesn’t want to tick off black voters back home.FWIW, Lindsey Graham came out in full support of her...a rather glowing statement that not only is she a good justice, she is an outstanding person. The return of the Messiah must be imminent.

Ilya Shapiro has apologized after tweeting that President Biden was poised to nominate not “the objectively best pick,” but a “lesser” Black woman to the Supreme Court.www.nytimes.com
In true Republican bipartisan fashion, he will continue to speak glowingly of her nomination(if it happens), but will vote "NO" in the confirmation vote. The same for empty suit, Ben Sasse of Nebraska.FWIW, Lindsey Graham came out in full support of her...a rather glowing statement that not only is she a good justice, she is an outstanding person. Graham is partisan, no doubt, but his voting record would suggest he would still vote to confirm a qualified judge. He voted yes for both Kagan and Sotomayor. In true Republican bipartisan fashion, he will continue to speak glowingly of her nomination(if it happens), but will vote "NO" in the confirmation vote. True, but those were different times.Graham is partisan, no doubt, but his voting record would suggest he would still vote to confirm a qualified judge. He voted yes for both Kagan and Sotomayor.
They should fire his ass before he gets back on campus. Black law students are not going to let this go. Shapiro is smart enough to know what he was saying. He just thought he could disguise his bias by saying the Indian judge would be better qualified.Damn, son - you said the quiet part out loud.
