Is Bama going to end up playing 5 on 3?
The NCAA will suspend a few Alabama players for the sake of parity.
(This one's for @TIDE-HSV) - I heard they will be bringing in a couple of their tight ends from the football team to play!Nah, they will just put time back on the clock so the other team can try a last second FG
So, you're saying "both sides."The game was over - less than 5 seconds left.
No chance for State to win.
Jayhawk with the ball just standing there dribbling.
State player all of a sudden grabs the ball and races to the basket for a last second dunk.
Gets blocked by a Jayhawk and in the process State player is knocked down on the floor.
Jayhawk goes over to and stands over the State player laying on the floor and starts whispering sweet nothings in his ear.
Then all hell breaks loose.
Analysis: Petty move by State player to grab the ball for a last second basket while the Jayhawk was just waiting for the game to end - mercifully.
I can sorta understand why the Jayhawk went over to block the shot.
But then he should have just walked away - the game was over.
Standing over your beaten opponent wasn't necessary. The point was made by the block itself.
All I can say is I pray that we never see anything like this in our conference.
I couldn't tell much from the film clips but this was what I expected based on just what I saw. The big question is did any players leave the bench? That's what got Bama hammered by the refs when it ended up 3 on 5 vs Minnesota.Sounds like Kansas will have 1 less player and that should be it.
