While visiting Alabama I see pictures of Tim standing, talking with Don Shula and Joe Namath. Who does he hang out with at Florida?
I'd imagine Danny Wuerfell has probably had a conversation or two with Tim.

Regardless, I think he's 'BAMA bound.

Yeah, but Wuerfell doesn't have a Super Bowl ring like Stabler, Don Shula, and Namath.

I think we should quit worrying about Tebow and make sure we recruit Smelly and Jones. I would much rather go with guys that bleed Alabama crimson than a bunch of fence setters. Even if jones goes to offense at least he can catch the ball which is a lot better than the receivers we have now. If he can catch it half as good as his dad we would be much better off than we are now.Tebow may or may not be the next great QB but with Smelley we have a guy that will give a 120% at all times.

cali,
Tebow is a competitor and he will give his 100%. Smelly will not make a decision on where he goes until after Tebow announces. Shula has been staight forward with him and if Tebow doesn't come then he will be at Bama. If Tebow comes to Bama, I will bet that he ends up at South Carolina. No reason to rush on Smelly.

Well today on 1420AM

The T-Town sports station they had Andrew Bone on. They asked him about several recruits and his response was Bama can easily get the clean sweep of Tebow, Smith, Hawthorne, Alexander, and Whitehead. He was very positive about how recruiting is going. Top 5 easy. So RTR!!!!

Tims Tebow will be a gaytor. Tims has planted bombs in Allah Bama recruit list. Big meltdown on Dec 14 will make 9/11 look like schoolyard skirmish. All Alla Bama message boards go "BOOM".

So, how does Gainesville compare to Tuscaloosa? How do their facilites and campus compare to ours? It sounds like Tebow is almost a toss up, but those are the type things I would look at as a high school recruit. I don't buy this where my buddies go thing. I'm sure he will pick the school that is right for him in the end.

Brodie Croyle, Von Ewing and Carnell Williams spent much of their time together the summer before their senior year of HS and when being recruited. Von Ewing posted regularly on another message board. They all wanted to attend the same school. They spent the night at each others home, went to movies etc. Von committed to about every school he visited then decommitted, Carnell felt dissed by Franchione who said he was making him one of his first visits then Dennis spent too much time at Brodie's and cancelled. Brodie was almost a Seminole. Von Ewing did stay by Brodie's side till he decided he liked stage plays more than football plays.

I should have added I don't put much stock in who is following who, where. A smart player follows his own heart.

Following your heart is nice...

...but perhaps he would rather follow some awesome offensive linemen to protect his rear-end!

So, does the number/quality of offensive linemen Bama is recruiting and has commitments for enter into the equation?

If I considered myself the future qb I would certainly take my future ol into consideration among some other things.

I heard today on 730ump in Huntsville that Tebow is a Bama lean somewhere in the 60 to 40 range to Florida. I TRULY believe we get him, I just dont see a kid making that many unofficial visits to not come to a school. :)
