2/13/2025
TUSCALOOSA, AL – Alabama baseball begins the 2025 season on Friday, Feb. 14, playing host to the visiting Bradley Braves. The information below previews new screening protocols at Sewell-Thomas Stadium as well as suggested parking procedures for Saturday's conflicting schedule with men's basketball.
METAL DETECTORS
All guests attending Sewell-Thomas Stadium will be subject to security screening prior to entry along with inspection of all approved clear bags and carry-in items. Starting for the 2025 Season, security staff will utilize walk-through magnetometers, handheld metal detectors and/or a physical pat-down to screen all guests at security checkpoints. Patrons are asked to form single file lines and continue walking through detectors. If further screening is necessary, security staff will alert the patron. If a guest does not feel comfortable with the metal detector screening due to medical reasons, a physical pat-down will be conducted instead. Please have all bags open for security staff and be prepared to remove any item from inside the bag if requested for closer inspection. Guests electing not to consent to the metal detector screening or physical pat-down along with a bag search will be denied entry.
SATURDAY PARKING
Fans attending Saturday's baseball game without a parking pass for the event are encouraged to park in the Soccer Lot and utilize the complimentary shuttle to the game. For more parking information, please visit uagameday.com.
