I got tired of reading the long post-game thread where Milroe was either the hero or the villain. From the looks of it, you would think Bama lost the game. Anyway, too much emphasis was placed on one player, I think we fans are not enjoying the game as much as we should and overlooking some other players on the roster that had positive impact on the game itself.
The Jam and Justice show continues. They complement each other nicely. Jam is a downhill, physical back who has enough speed to finish the run. Justice is patient and shiftier with acceleration once he gets out into the open.
Bama will need to lean on them with the meat of the schedule coming up. If the OL can fix its problems and have all the starters healthy again, I expect the duo to be a force.
Justin Jefferson had a crucial tackle on 3rd and long forcing USF to punt the ball after the Milroe fumble.
The hit on the USF QB was textbook and a thing of beauty. JJ adds depth to an already stout LB corps. I'm impressed that he is able to cover in space with his speed and range for an undersized LB.
Jaylen Mbakwe did an awesome of job fielding the ball along with a great return in relief of Cole Adams. We are in good hands with this stud freshmen and he seem to be living up to his billing thus far.
Germie Bernard had a fine game and is showing why Deboer gladly took him from his former team.
He seems to be wide open for all his 5 receptions. He looked like he added muscle to his frame as well.
He adds experience and talent to a very promising WR room.
Kendrick Law despite his fumble on the KO shows us why he needs more touches whether its Special Team or WR. He is too good not to have the ball in his hands!
Lawson and Campbell along with Russaw and Q Robinson are the finest LB corps in the SEC.
Ryan Williams enough said.
Tim Keenan had his best game, and slowly working his way into the draft next year.
I f I forgot to mention any other standout, please add them on this list.
