I've been having a little back and forth email affair with Chris Dufresne, a LA Times writer, who is a Boise State homey. He's been writing lots of articles the last few weeks with glowing praise of BS, all the while dissing Bama and Nick Saban, especially. I finally had enough of the Saban Derangement Syndrome and called him on it. We went back and forth for several days and I was like a bulldog on a bone and wouldn't let him off the hook. One of the issues was Saban's statement on his radio program about BS's strength of schedule. Chris, in my opinion, was misinterpreting what he was saying so I researched the entire statement, sent it back to him in quotes, showing him EXACTLY what was said, with a detailed explanation, yada, yada, yada. Anyway, I think I finally just overwhelmed him so that he saw I wasn't gonna give up or either he thought I was just some crazy woman and he emailed me an apology for his snarky tone. I told him he had to get over his Saban Derangement Syndrome or it would eat him up! LOL! In his Top Twenty team picks, he has BS #1 and Bama #4 this year.
