I think it'll be fine. Still bama gets tight shooting free throws when it counts most. I thought JD Davison would have more of an inpact so far. He looks tentative. His Free throw shooting I really don't get. In high school he was pretty good. But by mid season or so I think bama will be rolling.

What happened to our 3pt game was Iona just that good on D or was Coach Oats hell bent to win with our inside game..I'm no BBall expert, but, from the games I've seen this year we're more dangerous shooting the 3 ball..

No matter what the problem Iona is a reallyyyyy good defensive team

A guard heavy team needs to be efficient from the stripe. Start there.

Iona is an extremely good defensive team. Underrated on the pre-season metrics like KenPom, IMO.

But Bama hits their freebies they win.

Not a terrible loss. An unexpected one, sure, but one that doesn't amount to much in the grand scheme of things.

That works as long as you're efficient from the stripe.

Bama is fine. There are issues, yeah, but they are fixable. Ignore the takes that approach this with a football mindset.

Bama is not good defensively. Gurley is to slow. JQ is to small and Shackleford is a little to small as a 2 guard. I'm a little worried going into sec play there might be 4 or 5 losses. I believe this is a possible 10 loss team by seasons end. I hope not but it looks like it. Worse defensively than last year and still can't hit free throws which is beyond me.
