Coach Jake Ganus really has Moody rolling. I'm a big Ganus fan as I knew his family growing up. Jake's aunt was a cheerleader at Alabama but his adopted son is a freshman at Auburn this year.

FYI, both of our '27 commits are top 100 players on 247. We need to hold onto them but a very good start.

I also see RB Exavier Crowell from Jackson is #6. I wonder if any relation to RB Isiah Crowell who went to UGA. Also, Thompson QB Trent Welborn is #97. Crowell's freshman highlights are ridiculous, fast and powerful, and hope we get him.

The initial Top 100 rankings for the 2027 class were released on Wednesday afternoon and both Alabama commits made the cut.

Jabarrius Garror checks in at No. 43 overall while Ba'Roc Willis is ranked as the No. 66 overall player in the country. The pair of in-state talents committed in back-to-back days. Willis, a Moody High School standout, picked the Crimson Tide on July 30 and Garror, out of Vigor High School, followed a day later. Both are regular visitors to Tuscaloosa and were on campus for the Champions Cook-Out during the last week of July.

Saw a post this guy had decommitted. Not sure of source though. Any truth to it?

Yes. Guess he and his family forgot there is a lot of $ to be made and being a loyal in-state player does not mean much. Hope we get him back but I never pay attention to players that commit with two years of HS left anyway.

It’s really useless to post “ commitments “ this far out, especially these days. It’s a waste of time and space. He probably hasn’t started fielding his offers yet.

Commit now and sit back and let the other schools know what it will take to get your signature. Once better offers come in, then de-commit. Kids playing the system to their advantage while it lasts.

I only watched a few last year.
No longer the college football i grew up watching and admiring.
Since I started watching Alabama football as a kid in 1958, I strongly suspect that you can count on less than one hand the number of televised games that I’ve missed, and those were due to unavoidable circumstances. Until this past season.
