LSU vs MSU Game thread

I believe Coach Bryant said something in the shape of

If you dont wanna hear those cowbell,s go out and score, score and score and Shut those ____ things up....

by the way LSU pick 4. Seems like its getting quiet even with the score 10-0

Are we sure this is even college football we're watching and not 1A high school? The uniforms are ugly enough to be 1A high school football, that's for sure.

Do ya'll rememebr the game when Shula turned to Avalos & indicated - "Go in"... Avalos started backing away from him & mputhing: "Not me. No" If it wasn't so sad, titd have been funny...Boy , am I glad those days are OVER!!!

It is game one on the road in conference...I don't know how many teams would be performing that much better considering the circumstances.

This is starting to turn into one of those Brandon Cox is hitting the other team more than his own type of games. TRE BATTLE IS MY HERO!

It's so sad that mississippi state is so bad...

(what's even worse -- they beat us) :(

I was thinking exactly the same thing. Is the MSU QB throwing to the LSU DBs on purpose. 4 interceptions in the first half. What is the game record for intercepted passes? lol

LSU is not having a great game offensively, their QB and OL are lacking. Of course it is the first game and it is raining and . I am not that convinced that Flynn is as good as LSU is making him out to be.

Game note: I am impressed with Flutie and James calling the ESPN game. They are doing some good analysis for a change.

Ok - This may be the female or the blonde (or both) in me - but do ya'll think that LSU is holding back somewhat on purpose, to keep other SEC teams from figuring their strengths, strategy, not to show too much, etc???

You've thrown 3 interceptions. What do you do? Throw a 20 yard pass into the teeth of the defense? Or run some screens, dump passes, short passes, maybe run a little? Nah lets throw it deep!!

I don't blame them from throwing deep. None of their offensive plays are working, so at least try to get a big play while not working. MSU's best hope is for the entire LSU secondary to slip and fall at the same time, and even if that happens, LSU might run 'em down to save a TD.

Man, I feel bad for MSU. It was so promising in the beginning and their QB is just throwing the game away.

Hey...poor offense undermining the defense...sounds a bit familiar.
