Well say what you will, but Auburn is returning to the mean this year. LSU is getting by with a lot of mistakes and undisciplined play because of supreme talent. They don't have an advantage against Alabama when it comes to talent. It's not like I'm saying it will take a miracle for them to beat us, it's going to be a knock down drag-out affair, but I'm confident in our chances.

I agree, Auburn is making a lot of costly penalties, and that is something Alabama doesn't do.

LSU is a better team with Lee at qb...LSU's scores have come off of big pass plays other than that first drive though.

3 huge penalities from auburn results in 3 TDs for LSU. auburn has done a nice job of containing LSU offense, but some stupid penalty negates everything.

It seems like Auburn's offense peaked right before the end of the Clemson game, then they definitely regressed after that. Seems like that loss made them put more focus on their defense and let their offense regress.

I have 20 dollars riding on this game. Not for who wins but whether Auburn scores a touchdown or not and I hope LSU wins big but at the same time want Auburn to get only one touchdown.

I really haven't been that impressed with either team. A couple of long passes has put LSU on top.

The game thread on the auburneagle message board is sort of funny to read. Apparently, Auburn should be ahead at least 3-0(possibly more if ref's called game right), and the ref's are giving it to LSU. There are some who are realistic, but that is the prevalent feeling of the thread.

What they fail to understand(as I'm sure Alabama fans do) is that LSU has had penalties too, but good teams are able to overcome them, rather than giving up multiple 40+ yard touchdown passes. I'll agree with those who say LSU needs to be more disciplined against Bama, or it will come back to bite them.
