LSU wrap-up: Bama makes physical statement in suffocating win over Tigers
by Jess Nicholas, TideFans.com Editor-in-Chief

At one point in the run-up to Alabama’s game against LSU on Saturday night, the rental live tiger that had been secured for this game by LSU school officials appeared to be sleeping in his cage.

A fitting scene, especially since the Tigers themselves fell asleep at the wheel in the game that followed, allowing Bama’s Jalen Milroe to run all over them for the second consecutive season. The result this time was much the same as the first time Milroe was allowed unfettered access to the second and third levels of the LSU defense.

Nice write up. It was a great game all around.
Injuries are a concern.
We need to play the same way next week and get starters out by beginning of 3rd quarter to get ready for OU and Auburn.
I haven't really watched OU play this year.. have only read about them. I look forward to reading your thoughts about them in a few weeks.

This is the most one sided LSU vs Alabama game in a long time. Maybe their injuries did contribute. The fans leaving early surprised me. Alabama played a great game. As a side note the Ole Miss defense looked good against Georgia. They have 31 transfers. Takes more time now to get teams on the same page under the new system.

Yeah. you just never know. We might have to pass more against Mercer. I know nothing about them except they are in my state and 9-1.
If anything you need to do it to knock the rust off and get confidence that you can still do it.

There’s not much chance Mercer can handle last night’s interior rushing and end arounds. I hope Milroe works on some consistency with his mid range passes and gets his rhythm down.

I also hope to see this level of intensity so the game gets out of hand quickly.

Great write up. We keep running the explosives will show up. We had a drop last night and at least one miss but they are available because the team is establishing the run.

Me too. You forgot to mention the fact that Nick Sheridan and crew left the press box area with 2 minutes left to come to the sidelines to celebrate. That was great. :)
That was a great shot by the broadcast to show that to couple with the people piling out of the stadium! LOL! ROOOOOOOOLL TIDE, ROLL!!!!
