Mac’s stats are really impressive considering he threw 2 passes away and spiked one, so he was actually 24-29 on targeted Passes. Something Goldilocks probably didn’t have to do against Tech!

He was better than Tua in either of his outings against UGA and better than Joe Burrow in last year’s SEC Championship Game. Statistically very true! As Bama gained 100 yards more than LSU last year and .9 yards/play better as well

I sense a deep-seated resistance to the idea that Bama could just reach down into its quiver of players and come up with a QB rated 3-4 stars and come up with the likes of Mac Jones. I think it offends their sense of fairness...
