I'm starting to get so nervous I can barely pay attention to this one....lol

I was only 2 when the Miracle on Ice happened so I don't remember the magnitude of that upset.

Hopefully the Good Guys can shock the world and then face off with Finland (Purdue).

Was 10 but I didn't understand the enormity of it. But I do remember.

Welp, the true NC State team that played during the regular season finally showed up.

But credit to Purdue. They are a great team. They've played poorly enough that a better effort from the Pack would have given them a chance for upset.

But even when a great team plays bad they still can make other teams look bad too. Bama football has done this for years.

It's historically a bit rare for 2 #1 Seeds to actually make the NCG but that doesn't really mean much I guess.

It IS very rare to see Back to Back NC's in CBB though.

I'm hoping we come out White Hot just drilling 3's off a high tempo and get them staggered and gassed and backpedaling from shock.
