Wrong Jack, Mal wanted Richard Williamson.
You guys must be Japanese wanting to commit suicide like this.
Reading this thread kinda reminded me of Pickett's charge.

I'm only 25 years old and I totally agree with you. As I sit in my grey cube here at work all I can think about is sipping on a glass of Knob Creek while I listen to "If I Could Only Win Your Love", "Must You Throw Dirt In My Face", and "Are You Teasing Me".
Calm down about MM people. I was at UA from 2000-2004 and I can tell you that nearly every other sport has succeeded since he was hired. I have my own beef with him that I won't talk about here because it's a personal issue, but I do have respect for the man as far as being an overal great AD. Besides...would you all rather have Watson Brown? I didn't think so.
While I agree that Mal needs to go, I'm pretty sure that he did NOT make the decision to fire Shula. His firing of Shula has more to do with it than people want to admit.

Those warning signs were there for anyone to see. Believe me, we are much better off without RR.The warning signs and red flags surrounded RR and that is precisely why Mal and the PTB should have "x-ed" him out a long time ago. Competence in any manner would have never let him leave the room if they TRULY wanted him as their next coach and had put an offer on the table.
I've got mad writing skillz. :wink:Someone figured out a way to take that harsh edge off fire Mal Moore.![]()
"Just far sumbody"!!! Bama's new battle cry? Farin' sumbody is why we're where we are at this moment. If you guys are lookin for somebody to blame, look no further than your mirror, because we, as fans certainly share the blame.
