Or, per one famous college tradition, he is 1.16 Smoots long (explanation here). I think Saban is about 1.0 Smoots, +/- one ear.

Jake is a big drink of water. I don't buy the 6'5" 230 lbs stuff. I would bet he is a lot closer to 6'6" or 6'7" and 245 or 250 lbs. When he stands next to our other QBs, he is much bigger and thicker. The others look like beanpoles. Couldn't have him weighing more than Henry, could we?

Allie LaForce is 5'8". I don't know how tall Coach Saban is. I was SHOCKED when I saw that interview. I knew Coker was a big guy but WOW.

I agree, but usually when they walk in the picture like Coker did you just don't say "wow!, that guy is a monster". Coker just filled the frame up on TV.

Gary Danielson said during the game that he saw Jake before the game and he was one big guy and had to be at least 6' 6".
