I think mark and trent play with a huge chip on their shoulder Fri. I think the barn will stack the box and make us throw early. If we can move the ball passing and loosen them up MI and TR have a huge day.:BigA:

I have no doubt that they will run hard, but Mark and Trent will need the help of the OL to run the ball which has not happened against a good defense since the Florida game. The offensive and defensive lines have to win the battle upfront for Bama to win on Friday.

Last year they keyed on the run game.If they put 7 to 8 in the box, like everybody else this year,it will be hard to run.We must be able to pass to open up the run.Our O-line is not dominating like last year so we have to loosen them up.I Think MI wants to prove something against the barn this year.Could have his best game.

Last year, McElroy was not allowed to go Drew Brees on defenses and check plays at the line of scrimmage like he is now. Ted Roof is a good DC and so is Chiz. When we lined up in a certain formation, they knew what was coming and keyed on stopping the run, knowing that the home crowd would make it difficult to change the play at the line of scrimmage.

This game is in our house, and McElroy has a lot more freedom to change the play before the snap. If they put eight in the box Friday, McElroy has the chance to make'em pay for it. After he's done that a few times, things loosen back up and The Fast and The Furious™ are off to the races.

More than anything we need both guys to be healthy. Neither has been all the way there in the past 3-4 games. Hopefully they'll be healed to play well.

Hopefully our offensive line will play with a chip on their shoulder. We haven't had a dominating rushing game against one single good defense this season. We couldn't even get it going against Ole Miss or Mississippi State. We're going to have to use speed to beat these guys, get to the outside away from the carnage in the middle. I'm a little disappointed we haven't went deep any at all this year, even against weaker opponents. That's Auburn's biggest weakness but are we going to take advantage of it? I see a lot of running plays to the outside (good thing) and, unfortunately, short passes. But if we can get our receivers the ball in space they will make that Auburn secondary look silly.

What kind of chip? Maybe a golden flake? Or frito lay perhaps?
In that case, we need a tight end or somebody to play with the chips on THEIR shoulders so Fairley and crew will just chase the TE all over the field and leave MI/TR alone ;)

Mark Ingram has a chip and something to pay back from last year. We can get a pass or two if they put eight in the box. Minute they back off, TR and Ing will pound them. Game is in our house and GMAC will shine in check off's and manage a sound game plan. As for "Un-sportsman Fairly", I am sure we will hit him about as much as our defense hits $camNeuton......
