And his feeling was correct.

Got to acknowledge A&M's effort, but from a 15 point lead down to a one possession game at the end, that was closer than it needed to be.

Ridiculous there isn’t a happy median when it comes to officiating across games. In our game, you couldn’t breathe on someone without a whistle.

My buddy that is a Kentucky fan said their game with Mississippi State was just short of a blood letting. It wasn’t “we’re letting them play”. It was “I don’t see blood, so we’re good to go”.

1: The announcers were lazy. They clearly didn’t prep for the game. They were given talking points they knew nothing about and hadn’t watch the teams. I think Bama killing Ou on their court is better than Aggies having to come back.



2: The refs. I hate saying anything about refs cause the are usually just bad. But they absolutely are the reason Aggies weren’t blown out by 20 easily. Garcia should have been a flagrant if Youngblood was.



3: Roll Tide. Wins away are huge and Bama got them so far. Stevenson seems like his d has come back from earlier in the year, great to see. This team is good. Performance like that has to make you feel good about this team in a tournament.

I watched their coach's YT wrap up. Pretty good technical insights. Of course, he didn't admit the help they got from the refs. I don't remember the final question but he said something to the effect that, no only did we have future NBA players, we had future NBA players coming off the bench. Then, he said Oats was a future NBA coach...

Well, I'd prefer that Coach Nate stay at BAMA for quite a while.

I’ve asked this before. Why would he go to the NBA? Can he make more salary?

NBA coaches are now powerless position holders. I don’t see the purpose of going to the NBA.

I'm much more concerned about losing CNO to the NBA than I am to another school. He definitely runs a NBA style program which leads me to believe that he want to try and see if he could be a successful NBA coach. I'm not predicting that will happen but I wouldn't be surprised if it did happen one day.

Pet peeve of mine that they only allow a 2 hour window. At minimum they should allow 2.5 hours. 1st half usually takes close to 1 hour. 2nd half, if it's a close game really gets long with fouls at the end.

CNO has done with "hard hat" mentality to Bama basketball what CNS did with "process/play like there's no scoreboard/be where your feet are/play the next play" in football.

We are so fortunate to have him! I love his intensity! What he did with the McDonald's All America a game or two ago was so "CNS." He met him on the court and chewed him a new one but then later he loved on him in his postgame comments.

NBA for CNO? I hope not. I do remember that when he came to T-town, he was very concerned about living in an environment that he thought would be good for his young family. I don't know the kids' ages now, but maybe that helps him resist any urge to live in an NBA town.

One problem is that NBA coaches' organizations vary greatly in the amount of freedom they have in drafting or trading. If you're a college HC, you are going to have much more freedom to control your own destiny...
